I bought a Lemon

Bought a Disco 3 last year and it has been in the garage almost every month since. Garage steered me to the warranty that covers nothing (aside the alternator that blew). It's with a Law firm at the moment so I can't give more info. We have spent over £5k on various repairs and can no longer drive the car at all. Landrover specialist garage said the car was in a terrible state aside the shiny paint and floor mats. The underside is badly corroded and even the terrain response has failed. I used to love Landrover but not anymore. I will never buy one again

FAULTY CAR!

I DIDNT SPEND OVER 20000 TO HAVE CAR THAT DONT WORK. AT FIRST THIS COMPANY LOOKED GOOD AND PROMISED ME EVERYTHING WOULD BE SORTED AND IN ORDER AND I HAVE NO REASON TO DISBELIEF THEM. CAR WAS RUNNING WELL FOR A WHILE AFTER I GOT IT AND THEN LOTS OF WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON AND THEN OFF AND THEN ON AND THEN OFF AND NOW THEY ARE ON AND HAVE NOT GONE OFF AGAIN. I PAY FOR CAR MONTHLY AND NOW ARE PAYING FOR CAR THAT DOESN'T EVEN WORK! I AM HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO GET CAR FIXED AND WORKING AGAIN- DON'T THINK THIS IS FAIR!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM 4FRONTCARSALES READ THIS STORY FIRST. I BOUGHT MY MERCEDES E CLASS 220 **** SPORTLINE ON JAN 31ST.

WITHIN 3 MONTHS APPROX THE CAR WAS BROKEN WITH MAJOR ENGINE FAILURE DUE TO OVER FUELING OF THE 4TH PISTON WITH NO WARNING WHATSOEVER CAUSING ALMOST A FATAL MOTORWAY ACCIDENT. PUTTING THE DANGER CAUSED BY THIS ENGINE FAILURE TO ONE SIDE I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A CAR SINCE JUNE WHEN THE ENGINE BLEW UP WHILST I WAS DRIVING THE CAR. HAVING SENT THE CAR TO THE MECHANICS AUTHORISED BY 4FRONTCARSALES AND AUTOGUARD WARRANTY I HAVE NOW WAITED 5 MONTHS APPROX AND HAVE STILL NOT GOT A WORKING VEHICLE. I would not touch them with a barge pole - stay well clear. Sold us a heap of s***e and would not help out in any way.

We ended up taking them through Trading Standards. Do not be tempted by what looks like a really good price - it isn't!

Diabolical company

Got my car not too long ago (two maybe three weeks) from this company and it has been nothing but a headache from day one. I had my car inspected by the garage I usually go to after it began cutting out and they flagged so many problems I couldn't believe my ears. It was to cost me in the region of about £5000 to have the issues rectified and to get the car up to a decent standard. This company however are diabolical. They don't return my calls or emails. I think they only way to follow this up is legally as I am covered by the sales of goods act. Don't give yourself a headache by buying your car here.

Some of their staff are just unbelievable!

I have read loads of reviews about 4Front car sales and they seem to have quite a reputation for being cowboys but then if you look at any other dealer they have good/bad reviews also. Based on this I decided to give the company a go anyway and I now really wish I hadn't given them the time of day. Some of the staff there are just unbelievable. They're so rude and have NO idea what customer service is. How can you say to a customer "what do you want?" and "if you're not buying today you can't test drive the car". Atrocious behavior and i urge anyway that worked hard for their money to find another dealer- preferably one that knows what customer service is.

They don't answer or return calls

If you're a new sale and looking to buy a car this company probably couldn't do enough for you and they'd return your calls with no effort whatsoever because it means one thing... money! Once you've bought the car from them and realised all of the things they promised are lacking and your try to get what you were promised your calls suddenly mean anything to them. They refused to speak to you, say they will call you back and never do. They are a horrible business to deal with. I wont recommend them and nor will I ever be using them again.

Hardly worth the journey

Surprise, surprise the car I was after test driving had been sold. It had been sold last week according to the sales person. So why is it still in your website? Scam! It appears that it's not the first time that you don't have the cars you say you do. And of course because the car I wanted weren't there I got the whole "we have another car for you to look at". That ol' chestnut. I came specifically for that car and you have sold it. I believe our business is done here and the you try and sell me a more expensive car... FAT CHANCE!

PLEASE DON'T USE THEM!

Listen, I'm not one for complaining or making a fuss but I'm hoping by writing this someone else can be spared the stress and anxiety my wife and I have suffered. I am a normal, hard working fella with a wife and two small children (5 and 2). Needing a bigger car for our family we bought an Xdrive from them. Looked to be a good, family friendly and reliable car the price was well within our budget so we wnet for it. Two days after having the car I was driving down the motorway to drop the two children off and I must have hit a small pot hole. The tyre exploded, the car kicked out and I lost control of the car momentarily. I managed to regain control and guided it safely to the side of the road. After calling the AA to recover me and the children we were towed to a garage to have the tyre replaced and the car checked over. When at the garage I was told that the tyres on the car were not run flats and were too small for the wheels on the car which is why the car kicked out. I was horrified! *** could these people sell a car to a family knowing the danger they could be in? I have replaced the tyre and had the car checked over by a REPUTIBLE garage but I have the right mind to take this company to court for their negligence. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Aint woth da paper they print on

Mate, I scoped this place out with my mates. Needed a new car so thought buying from a dealer would give me security and help if anyfin went wrong. Not long after I'd been driving around the car started playing up man. It was getting worse and got to the point where the car weren't driveable anymore. I rang them and thought I could use the warranty or protection whatever they call it. Apparently, the part that was broken was subject to wearing so they wouldn't pay out to have it fixed- This wasn't explained to man when you sold the car? They aint worth the paper they print that *** on fam. Guess now I've given you my money its mans problem now init?

Bored of chasing for what is mine

Bought a BMW 3 series from these guys say about 2 months ago now. The user manual and service book were not there when I drove the car away but they assured me they had the missing dockets and would send them on post-haste. I gave it a week or so after driving away in my shiny car and then decided to give them a call to find out if it had been posted to me and if it hadn't why not? and where was it? I was continuously told; despite my numerous calls, that the chap that sold me the car was not available and the person I spoke with said they would get him to call me back (never happened!) I have phoned several times and all I get is empty promises of a call back that never happen. So, I've become tired of chasing them for what is mine so I shall be returning the car to you, you can have it back and don't even think about complaining or taking money off for no vehicle handbook or service history!

4 Front Car Sales - For your own sanity- avoid at all cost

Went there yesterday to purchase my partner a car, we opt for bmw 1 series. We then spoke to the dealer who showed us around the car. We noticed few thing wrong with the car, and mentioned it to the man. He told us he will get them replaced before we collect the car.

We decided to go for the deal, and deposited £1000. When we got there to collect the car, none of the things we pointed out to the salesman were amended. When we asked why the issues were not corrected, we were told that the car was sold as seen.

We demanded for our deposit, and they told us they can’t refund the deposit. We are taking them to court to get this resolved. For your own sanity, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS UNTRUTHFUL DIRTY DEALER.

STAY AWAY!

These people are nothing but cowboys that need to vanish without trace. They are rude, patronising, insult your intelligence and knowledge of cars and speak to you like your worth nothing more than the aglet on their shoe. The sales men make it quite clear they aren't interested in selling the car that's right for you they're interested in selling you any old car that brings in the money. If you prepared to deal with this kind of attitude if and when your car you bought form them goes wrong, then go ahead buy the car but I would stay away from this back-street dealer and spend my money where I feel im not being treated with such disrespect

I DROVE ALL THE WAY FROM MANCHESTER AT THE WEEKEND AFTER BEING TOLD THE CAR I WNATED WAS THERE! GOT OT THE SITE AND IT WASN'T THERE!!!!!! THEY TRIED TO SELL ME A DIFFERENT CAR. I WENT WITH IT BEFORE THEY REFUSED ME A TEST DRIVE SAYING "IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BUY I WANT TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER BECAUSE WEEKENDS ARE FOR SELLING" I WAS SHOCKED AT THIS BEHAVIOUR. Make sure you have spare cash

All of the cars they sell are fully equipped with hundreds, even thousands of pounds worth of damage. They don't check their vehicles fully, they don't replace or repair anything fully they just *** it up and hope it lasts long enough to get you as far away from the business as possible. So, if you buy from them make sure you have a nice little pot of spare cash because that will all go on repairing a car that shouldn't have been sold it that kind of state and should have already been fixed. Easier to go to auction yourself and take a lucky dip!

SHOCKING RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMERS

I had seen some beautiful cars on your website and was really excited about visiting your dealership. The photos were taken in a lovely location, made the place look really expensive, until you turn up! There was not all the cars they had online there was a small collection of about 20 cars possibly not even that. I thought while I was there I should at least look, when a salesman asked me if I needed help, I asked him a lot of questions about the car I had seen online and if you had anything closer to the spec I had seen, I was shocked at his reply, ‘’if you’re going to waste my time I’m going to move on to the next customers, who actually want to purchase a vehicle’’. When I went inside to complain about his attitude the receptionist wasn’t even bothered in all fairness she didn’t even look like she was in the same world as us. Disgusting customer service no wonder they have all these bad reviews.

Avoid

This group of people do absolutely NOTHING for the already *** rep for used car dealers or used car sales men for that matter. They are rude, arrogant and think they are God's gift to the used car market. The sales men come back with smarmy, unhelpful remarks like "are you buying today because if you're not I have to leave" or "come back when you know what you're buying" and make it quite clear they are after one thing only. How they are still in business is beyond me but there's one born every minute I guess. Good luck if you decide to use them.
